I bought a used '86 Savage. I discovered that the speedometer cable was "rigged", so I was fixing that right. When I got done (this is after several days riding the bike with no problem) the bike would not start. Not a complete idiot, so I checked the fuses. Found a blown Main. Replaced it...nothing. The start switch seemed a little flaky, so I checked that. Switch seems bad, so I wired a switch around it to get it started...nothing!
It acts like no juice is getting to the starter...the lights would at least dim...
I don't know what else to check - no manual.
